Today is my birthday, and it was awfully nice of the Rangers to pummel the Caps the way they did last night. I couldn't have asked for a better present from them (okay, well they could have shown up to play the Sens last Sunday when I was there to watch them play, and they could sign Jed Ortmeyer, but anyway...).
And Baby-Face Dubi - every time I see you step up the way you did, I have renewed love for you. Your Gordie Howe hat trick was nothing short of amazing, and beating the snot out of Ovechkin - icing on the cake, baby, icing on the cake.
December slump be damned!!!

Thanks, Allyson. Usually they are in the midst of their December slump for my b-day, so this is def a bonus. I'm enjoying it while I can before they play the Penguins tomorrow night.
